Energy will be back Soon!

Day two just as expected was tough. My energy level were alright, this should change by tomorrow and my body should start running off of fat for energy. I hope so given that I am moving tomorrow and will need all the energy I can get. So todays post is short and sweet, well not so much sweet if you know what I mean. Everyone have a great Thanksgiving and I look forward to this journey together.

Day 1 :: 30 Days and Fit for Christmas

In the Beginning

Day one is almost in the books. Today I have felt great. Craving have not been that strong. Tomorrow I am sure the craving will attack the will power. See today my body was still running off primarily carbohydrates. It takes your body about three days or 72 hours to process the carbs that you eat. That’s why the next couple of days are the tough ones. Its when your body is switching in to ketosis and using fat as energy. This is why its important not to so call cheat on a low carb diet because it can take you three days to get back on track.

You might look at what I ate today and believe its a little extreme and it is. There’s no veggies today. Don’t Hate…

Plan It to Win It: If your telling yourself that you have to much going on to diet you need to stop lying to yourself. I am currently working 7 days a week, 65 hours a week and I am managing to diet or better said change my life. It takes planning.

Water intake so far: 80 ounces still time in the day for more.

If you are joining me on this endeavor what’s been your experience today? It’s not to late to join along start tomorrow and join in. Lets get fit for Christmas and earn your Low Carb Freak Badge (LCF) by completing this challenge with me.

-Chad

Tip: Don’t let yourself get hunger. Plan on cooking before you start to get hunger and you will minimize your chance of cheating.

The Next Jimmy Moore

Low Carb Freak Jimmy Moore

Jimmy gets a "LCF" badge

Ok so I know this title is bold… but, cut me some fat. If you have no idea who Jimmy Moore is head over to his blog. See Jimmy Moore really set the bar high losing triple digits and became know over the internet relatively quick. This gave Jimmy a platform to inspire people and help change others people’s lives.

See, my goals are similar. I too want to help people; especially those in their twenties. I found that after graduating high school you make more money and this leads to eating whatever and whenever. After blowing up and finding yourself obese at age 25, you turn towards the advertisement voices. That’s wear the problem lies. See, all your diets are mostly marketed towards 30′s and older. We do have some advertisers targeting us. You know people like hydroxycut; “get fit from this magic pill”. See in your twenties you shouldn’t have to worry about your weight as long as you have hydroxycut. What we need is to learn to eat health.

Low Carbohydrates Diet Changed My Life!

Welcome to the beginning…Over the course of time I want to share my story on how a low carbohydrates diet changed my life.  March 1, 2011 sitting at work a co-worker said he was on a low carbohydrates diet and that I should join him. Since the fall of 2010 to Spring 2011 I had lost probably around 20 lbs. Im not 100% sure. Continue Reading…
